Our last sit-rep is saying next 36 hours up to 8". Rest is usual severe stuff (winds, tornados, large hail - yada, yada, yada). At this point; flooding and flash flooding is probably our biggest issue since ground is already saturated.

Confrence Call Details. Here is what they said:

1-2" of rain possible late tonight with thunderstorms.
severe threat looks low tonight compared to the rain threat
tomorrow looks to be the rough day
the key is do we see any sun tomorrow
highest severe threat south/east of Louisville
rain tomorrow could be 2-4"
timing on storms would be noon to 8pm
tornadoes possible
straight-line winds up to 80 mph possible tomorrow


Heavy rain discussion:
potential of 4-5" next 36 hours (worst case)
Green River did rise quite a bit overnight
Watching Barren River as well
Potential for Rough River Lake to fill to capacity and spill over. If it did..it would be a first.
Ohio River forecast remains unchanged...upper gauge to reach 33.3' and lower gauge 65'
Ohio is higher the more west you go.

Saying some prayers for you and yours!! May I borrow your building manual? Mine is in Hebrew and really hard to translate!!!

Late tonight and tomorrow will be "balls to the wall" for us as well as many others along the path of these things.

To be honest, I am ready for some Spring showers that know what the hell "showers" means!!

Hey there FW, Mine's done and ready...LOL Saw a story earlier that the damn at Lake Jericho is in imminent danger of failing and will flood the town of Sulphur. Mandatory evacuation in progress. Has really been rough so far and tomorrow is supposed to be the worst. Been saying a lot of prayers and having some serious conversation with the big guy upstairs. Hoping he's going to keep blessing me and help me survive this ordeal.

Good Morning Everyone...

Yes, I am wandering in at this ungodly early hour since I am toddling off to work at the court this morning in a little bit. I really wish I drank coffee - but nope... I have to find something else to wake me...

oooooo Tom is giving me a special wake-up good morning.... perfect... we all know how much fun that is ;-)

yes, I am doing better today - doctor started me on Imitrex yesterday for migraines - actually worked prett damn good - surprisingly - since 10 years ago the same med put me in the ER. But i am good to go today - so we will see how the day progresses.
