Just back in the house from running wrecks and downed trees this morning. Only some minor straight-line wind damage so far. Day's not over yet.

Tom, glad you guys made it through. Good bit of flooding down here, but not too wide-spread. Lot of damage in areas near us; lot of calls.

As you say, thoughts and prayers to those in Alabama, Mississippi, and Georgia. I see the pictures and talk to people I know there - almost can't comprehend the devastation. Also thinking about everyone else along the path which extends from the southwest to northeast. Truly massive and horrific.

Everyone stay safe out there!!

Survived the rains & storms, things moved out last night. Sending out prayers and thoughts to all of our brotheres and sisters in the southern states who got pounded with the severe storms & tornadoes.

Morning all. Fresh ground Kona Blend coffee is brewing and the bacon is sizziling on the stove. Enjoy! Well of to battle the elements and finish preping are a.t.v. and u.t.v for the summer. Starting are 1 hour call back staffing for the season monday and the crew will be avalible for suppression(if anything ever drys out). Long range forcast shows a breck in the weather next week so hopefully we'll be of RX burning. Have a safe on out there and know THE SUN WILL SHINE AGAIN!

holy cow - news showing Alabama is getting shredded with tornados

I can't remember where everyone lives - but my thoughts and prayers are with all of you battling these storms... and your loved one who may be in those dangerous areas...
