Dee, some of us are too busy paddling fricking boats to respond!!! LOL! Of course, what the heck am I bitching about, you guys seem to be getting your fair share of it up there ... but then again, it is flowing south and we are getting it so - KNOCK IT OFF!!! Geeeez! :)

Okay, back to work. Later crew! Dry is not much of an option for some of us, so stay safe!

oooooooooo i just heard the funniest thing - our ER - is now taking online appointments - hee hee

in an attempt to reduce the hundred people in their waiting room - you can now schedule an appointment and just show up

they are marketing it "rest at home while you wait to see the ER doctor... then show up for your appointment... with an average wait time of 1 1/2 hours"

hmmm...

now this is fascinating for several obvious reasons...

self-diagnosis of what is "life-threatening" tops the list

but since I personally have been with people in this ER - once when we waited 22 hours and once we waited 11 hours... this theoretical 1 1/2 hours "wait at home... then have rapid ER service" is interesting (figment of their imagination)

our biggest backup at our ER - is the constant flow of helicopters and ambulances - leaves little room for walk-in patients

and i figured out WHY my housemate's wife was crying... loneliness being in a strange country where she hardly speaks the language and not knowing anyone but her husband who is gone all the time working on school.

how sad... that sucks... poor girl...

and since I don't speak any of the other 5 languages that she speaks, I am not sure how I can help her much... but I will try...

Bill - while sitting here imagining your butt jiggling by me for an entire week it quite enjoyable....

I just wanted to make sure you knew you are supposed to put the food into you mouth not apply it directly to your butt...
