The Backroom Crew

This is a place where we can sit down, put our feet up and chill. Where the Boys and Girls can just be themselves. The Back Room or what most firefighters call a ''day room or rec room'' is the social point of every firehouse.

Heather- Sorry to hear of your...ummm...circumstances. I will try to bring you up to speed on things shortly, however, I can let you know that we are stuck in a subtropical heatwave of sorts out here that would probably suit a nekkid body quite well...hehe...you know, hot and sticky, day and night!!

Hey Kyle, how's it going?
Comment by Ernie Scheinert on July 18, 2011 at 11:48pm
Sarah- Glad to hear that you are taking this well, as it is never easy. As Kyle mentioned, if you ever need anyone to talk to, you have quite a selection here in the BRC.

Today we laid to rest a great man.

A friend asked me yesterday why I cared so much for someone I didn't know long.
I looked him in the eye and said,
"I didn't know him long, but he was my family. My fire family. And I love everyone in my family.

and here is my current plan for the bed bugs

Food Grade Diatomaceaous Earth...

apparently when spread around the house, etc. it cuts the little smarie bastards exoskeletons to shreds... we shall see... the exterminator people think it won'r sufficiently do the trick... BUT if it saves me $15,000 in extermination fees - I am willing to try it..

Patti & Izzy LADIES DAMN GLAD TO SEE YOU BOTH !!!

yea yea yea i fixed the backed up plumbing MYSELF - yea yea yea...

landlord is still coming - I needed help !!
ickee - meanie

so now that I fixed the clog - he can look at the other random leaks I found (or created) - and see if the bathroom flood did further damage - since the water was rising up from between the toilet and the floor - which is not traditionally where water is supposed to escape - so we will see if I broke a pipe or a seal or some other fun thing - that my landlord can blame me for... ugh

BUT YIPPEE - usable plumbing !

One war one... 47 more to work on...

Catch ya'll later...

Good Morning Everyone...

Perhaps God is having an attitude adjustment class with me - as I have been frustrated by the bed bugs - until now... when I have no usable plumbing in my house due to some random problem beneath my house ?clog ?broken something ??? - and now the bed bugs seem like a much smaller issue...

Apparently God is trying to teach me more patience and prioritizing and problem solving...

and in the great words of Thomas Harding "For every bad there is a worse!" LOL Apparently someone thought I needed to spend more time learning this lesson :(

and now I must go on a hunt... down the street for usable plumbing...

Ya'll have a good day !!!
