The Backroom Crew

This is a place where we can sit down, put our feet up and chill. Where the Boys and Girls can just be themselves. The Back Room or what most firefighters call a ''day room or rec room'' is the social point of every firehouse.

not exactly sure his name(our deputy chiefs been the one dealing with him the most) the first dilivery date was the begining of next month but that got pushed back because"black trucks take longer to paint and dry"

Chief, good idea. I just ran into the kitchen to grab another cup of coffee and caught one of the guys picking something up from the floor and scraping it.

Hey Chief,

From the smell, I would say they are trying to do French Toast (in your honor!), bacon (extra, extra, crispy - well smoked!), eggs (keep hearing this cracking sound - I really do hope it is eggs!!), bits of fresh fruit (getting ready for a run for more bandages), coffee (had a cup - not too bad), and some fresh squeeze OJ (I gave them the plastic reamer instead of letting them use the electric juicer).

lol ran a small training night for some of my probies last night.... simple shit like pullin hose, throwin ladders, times turnout gear dawning drills, changing scba bottles in a timely manner. stuff they will be expected to do when they do to firefighter 1, and stuff they should know since they just passed scene support. well one started bitching half way throught how he was tired, i said" what u gana do when ur interior and are conducting a search, sorry chief im coming out im tired i worked all day, i dont feel like it?" well after them bitching they actually did good, and i let them know that too. why is it they were doing some cleaning duties around the station and i get called into the chiefs office( he just got back from a meeting and i was doin paperwork) with him wanting to know why i was singling out the probies and being mean to them, i explained that it was a dept drill (everyone including myself participated). after that his response was" there lucky i wasent holdin it i would of rode there ass harder" got to luv probies
