Hey, we are having fun!!! Ha ha ha ... "trying to relocate to dry land"; ummm, the dry land at this point would be called trees!! Just kidding! Know the guys are slammed; exhausted; and doing a spectacular job. Now, if only the citizens would make their jobs easier!!

Keep trying to talk the folks here out of their little Zodiacs ... man, what a blast zipping that up the Cumberland!!! We have air boats out doing some recon work along the shore lines in Nashville. The way things are going, we may need the Ark ... water will probably keep rising for another day or two.

First and Second Avenue being evacuated in Nashville; Opryland Complex under water; left my darn canoe at home!! Something says this would be a really good time to invest in the stock of companies making Athlete's Foot remedies!! :D

Another mud slide 20 minutes ago ... Cumberland River is rising so more evacuations in Nashville ... gonna be a long one!!

Checking in ... we are wet (still playing with some white water down here!) and really, really, tired of idiots! Sadly, lost seven victims to drowning. Over 600 water rescue calls for two counties (Williamson - mine, and Davidson - contiguous to us) in 16 hours! TEMA full out and every other EMA hauling *ss!!
Glad to see your are back Chief! Can't wait to see pics!
Ralph, sorry to hear about Burke and Cindy! Prayers going out to them! Gotta love those quad riders ... they can make for some really challenging calls, eh?!?!
Heading for shower, glass of wine (at this point it may be whine!), and a pillow!! Stay safe out there!!
