I'm reloading right now...gonna go to the Station and yell at the new proby...Chief said it's ok. I yelled "turnout" last time...got him to put on his turnouts in 42 seconds. I think that's slow. Poor kid looked at me weird...prolly thinks what this short little hobbit is doing at the station. LOL
I really feel small amidst those fire fighters, sometimes it's scary. :-(

So proud of Chief Mike ... nice to see a man whose masculinity is not challenged by a color!!

Rossi ... I like your style!!! I wish I had thought about the railing!! I had a commissioner who was a pink-aphobe. We had to make sure NOTHING was pink (even highlighters had to be yellow, green, blue, purple!). Absolute moron!

I think I would be cutting some folks down at the knees (easier for you and me to do!! LOL!!) when they start comparing me to a bollard or similar item!

Before they left to clean off the Deck, they left an almost empty coffee pot on the burner ... need I say more??

Well, Chief Mike do you have a problem with your femininity. Get in touch with your feminine side will yah? LOL If I ever told the Chief that, he would wring my little neck. Glad you'd enjoy it more than he.

FW, I gave him something pink and it's going to stay there forever. I had the handrails to the stairs going to the mezannine at both stations painted pink. Uuuuuhh, that did not go well coz I got a phone call right after that. I asked him what was the first thing that came to his mind....he said "Rossi". LMAO.

FW, if you find something pink for my Chief...send it my way. I'll pay for the postage...LOL.

FW, everytime they see something small at the fire station they call me and ask me to stand next to it to see who's taller. They had me stand next to a bollard to figure out how tall the bollard is.

Nah...no need for aspirin....I'll just keep pissing him off more often. That's my cure. More fun that way.

Hi Rossi! I hear ya! Sorry day not going so well!!

Like you, I was carrying bags almost my size and then having to do half-spins to get the damn things to sail over the top of the dumpster. I didn't find it that funny, but others did. "Wait, wait!! Kayce is brining a bag - you gotta see this!! It is hilarious!!" I did toss a couple of body bags in after a few of the less funny comments!!

I need to find your chief something REALLY good in pink ... just tell him it is from a fan in Nashville!! LOL!!


Forget the aspirin ... just have four cold ones! LOL!!

Morning everyone. not having a good day today. long weekend was very nice. come back to work and you got tons of email to respond to. AAAAARRGGGHHHH!!!

First things first, I think I've pissed off our Fire Chief again....he does not like pink so I sent him a picture of a tour bus that's painted pink and told him he can use that bus for tours at the new Fire Stations...LOL...I think it's funny. He doesn't. Oh well. II-W-II (It Is-What-It Is).

You think 5'-4" is short....LOL I'm 5'-0" tall or 4-12 as the fire people would tell my height. Yeah I definitely would have a problem with a 6' high dumpster. We have tons of that at work. Very funny if you see me try to put something in there, especially when I carry something much bigger than I am.

Thanks Jess! This was the last weekend for citizens in Davidson County to clear out stuff and have Metro take it away (free of charge!). As of today, folks in the Nashville Metropolitan Area have to take it to the dump and pay the fee. In my opinion, this is an unfair practice since so many of these folks lost their cars/trucks/SUVs to the flood.

So grateful I live in Williamson County - we treat citizens better!
