The Backroom Crew

This is a place where we can sit down, put our feet up and chill. Where the Boys and Girls can just be themselves. The Back Room or what most firefighters call a ''day room or rec room'' is the social point of every firehouse.

Wow! Busy afternoon for your folks in NY!! Hope it settles down soon!!

Have fun with the Bikers this weekend! ;)

Glad no damage to your home Jess! Mighty close ... I would have been sweating bullets (or more likely cannon balls!!)!

We live so close next to our neighbors that I was affraid the house was going to go up. But luckly his garage is detached from his house and it sits way in his backyard or else I would have probably had some damage to my home.

No don't do that. Although you could be having the day I'm having I get a call from glenville disbatch theirs a structure fire on your street what house number are you? Turns out it was just my neighbors garage that was on fire and Scotia FD knocked it down super quick. No damage done to my shed that sits next to it.

Glad to hear it! These things here in TN we call them "Paint Spiders", and they get quite large (3" or so). Almost backed into one a few years ago while gardening. Turned around and had a face-to-face experience. I backed off, ran for the Raid, emptied can of Raid ... bye-bye spider and hello stiff drink!! Scared the snuff out of me!!!
