Unfortunately our fire works started early this week. Had a small kitchen fire in the NEW station. Oooooppps. Contractor tried to hook up the line to the kitchen range...created a spark. Sprinklers worked though and minor water damage to cabinetry and floors. Not a good day.

FW, Mashed Neeps is a GREAT term. Will definitely use that.

Temps in Vegas: 105-108. People are running wild as well since their brains are all dried out of alcohol. Lots of incidents happening all over town. May be best to stay in and watch the fireworks on the tube.

Actually, temperatures here have been cooler for the last two days! Really enjoyed it. Idiots have been running wild so FW has been way too busy!

Afternoon Chief ... take me, take me!!! Boston one of my old stomping grounds and miss it a lot!! Been a LONG couple of days - yesterday, I literally popped in to post that funny (after someone sent it to me!). Of course, now that I look back, maybe was not such a good thing seeing the post from Tarisa! How sad!! Stay safe and eat lobster!! Glad the spider took the hit this time and not you! LOL!! Rossi … Turnips? I know a few who could be used as a side-dish right now! Scottish dish named, "Mashed Neeps", which is mashed turnips! Ohhh, I could so go for mashing a few of these turnips!!

Mike M … hey fella!! Guess what!! The final t-shirts should go out on Monday!! Hallelujah!! Poor people! Didn’t realize it was a bunch of volunteers who expected to send out a few hundred shirts! They were slammed with thousands and thousands of requests for these things!! As soon as they arrive, I will get it off to you!!
