The Backroom Crew

This is a place where we can sit down, put our feet up and chill. Where the Boys and Girls can just be themselves. The Back Room or what most firefighters call a ''day room or rec room'' is the social point of every firehouse.

Hopefully you will get a decent night with not too many idiots!! The heat has a way of really bringing out the nuts ... fried brain cells!

Rossi ... when you get your happy rear-end back here, please hit the Pool/Deck - we need another lady to help us out with choosing our Cabana Boy!!

Morning everyone...have a great weekend...good laugh below. I'm off traveling...catch you all later.

It's Soooo Hot!

The birds have to use potholders to pull worms out of the ground.
The trees are whistling for the dogs.
The best parking place is determined by shade instead of distance.
Hot water now comes out of both taps.
You can make sun tea instantly.
You learn that a seat belt buckle makes a pretty good branding iron.
The temperature drops below 35 C and you feel a little chilly.
You discover that in July it only takes 2 fingers to steer your car.
You discover that you can get sunburned through your car window.
You actually burn your hand opening the car door.
You break into a sweat the instant you step outside at 7:30 am.
Your biggest bicycle wreck fear is, "What if I get knocked out and end up lying on the pavement and cook to death?"
You realize that asphalt has a liquid state.
The potatoes cook underground, so all you have to do is pull one out and add butter, salt and pepper. and of course sour cream, diced onions and a few serving spoons of chile.
Farmers are feeding their chickens crushed ice to keep them from laying boiled eggs.
The cows are giving evaporated milk.

STAY COOL!

Yep, sort of reminds me of mine ... the one doing an imitation of moss!! Cars are often a really good way to get kidlets moving and working! :)

Morning Baily!

Okay Jess, I will let you off the hook since I know you were gearing up for this weekend! Further info at Pool and Deck ...

Mikey!! You are really, really, really, tempting FW to post one that makes the other one look really innocent!!! Fortunately, Baily is around so I will try to behave ... simply put, it would make most of you men blush and feel sorry for the guy in the shot! LOL!

Morning all!

Chief sounds like you've been busy! Nothing wrong with getting a job at his age it helps build character.

FW - Sorry for miss behaving last night and not abusing those boys. Don't worry applicant number #3 will have his hands full this weekend. Much thanks in advance to Maria and you for letting me use and abuse awh I mean borrow and test his skills. : )

Mike glad to hear that you got some sleep! Sounds like your ready to go for the day.

Ralph - You and those rib-eyes...your still making me hungry talking about them. Hum maybe I will have to pick up some for my trip this weekend. A nice steak over the camp fire sounds great : ) Add in a nice cold beer and life will be great. Just as long as it doesn't rain.
