Chief your right that is pitafull watching those poor news people like that. I wanted to go I even begged my boss to let me go as a reporter, the only problem is he knew I would have wanted to play with the fire and not get any audio for him.

Okay ... have now changed profile picture to that of a Badge Bunny Gone Rabid!! LOL!!! She even took a kid with her to try to soften the hearts of the firefighters ... didn't work!!

Marian, I will assume you played the newly revised edition of Twister when you were a kid!! I, being the wise, old, ancient one here, played the original!! :D

Resemble all you want ... you are too perfect a fit for this group so we can now have even more fun. You will need to join Jess, Maria, Rossi, and me at the Deck and Poolside to meet our Cabana Boys and Ranulf, the head of security. We have some Pool Girls to make the guys happy!

and here I thought I was twisted Firewriter......all those poor women, my heart bleeds for them....not bloody likely....but sounds good anyway....

do they really have any blood to give in those temps.....the mind boggles... ok when have you ever seen a helpless firie, cop, ambo, deputy...we don't have deputies....they get a splinter in their finger and the women come running...I am going to shut up before I get into trouble....if only there were some nice young ones around that catered to the females of these professions.....lol

ok....I resemble that comment...does that mean I am bent in the mind??? you have to be these days....can't be to precious....have to see the funny side in everything, I have thought about joining the eight ball crew, because I openly admit to being twisted....lol....which reminds me of playing twister when I was a kid...lol

Your temperatures sound like those of our buddy Rossi (she lives in Las Vegas, Nevada). Right now, our heat index is 102 degrees. Probably be about 112 by early afternoon.

Just think, all those poor women standing in line waiting to donate blood ... all those firemen, police, and deputies just waiting to help!! LOL!! Groannnnnn!!

I could only wish for that heat at the moment Firewriter...we are having one of the coldest winters on record for Sydney...we had a week of around -5, not normal for here...yet we get up to 46 celcius for summer...give it another couple of weeks and we'll be back into the low 20's celcius, I guess we do get it luck compared to you guys, we never see snow here, only really bad frosts and thank god we only get a short winter of a couple of months, and then it is tshirt weather again....

Hi George....nothing like saying it the way that it is...best way to say it... chick magnets = any uniform here, doesn't matter what type of uniform it is, it is always known as a chick magnet.

ok....a term that has been coined for men chasing females in uniform....hasn't happened yet but thats not to say that we can't come up with a good one....lol....the mind boggles.....I'll put it to the crew and see if we can come up with something and if we can lets spread it....
