The Backroom Crew

This is a place where we can sit down, put our feet up and chill. Where the Boys and Girls can just be themselves. The Back Room or what most firefighters call a ''day room or rec room'' is the social point of every firehouse.

Stayed away from the strip this weekend...College kids all over the freckin town going crazy....sirens all over, accidents everywhere. WTF?

Lots to do outside the strip anyway....and the best part, only the locals know where the spots are....LOL

Yeah I feel his pain, we had to get spread for this last mission in Iraq. I would rather take a 5.56 to the chest.

FW, I'll switch my sunshine with your "wet and wild" adventure over there, anytime.
Keep it safe my dear friend. Haller if you need anything.

FW send some my way please, I miss "the wet that shall not be named". Just don't spray me the OC, I wanted to cry the last time I was sprayed by the Army. The bad part was, I was in to much pain to cry.

But you see ... I LIKE pepper spray! Especially when you can arrange to have a slight breeze blowing across the eyes after they have been sprayed ... hurts like a bitch and keeps on giving!!

Yeppers, you are a friend and do take a lot of crap from me ... thanks for the shoulders to bitch on!! :D

What part of NEW RULES did you guys not get?!?!?! Argh!!!!

Tyler, I will be MORE than happy - deliriously so - to send some of this stuff "which shall not be said" your way! Really, I mean that with all my heart!! While I am at it, will also send a few crates of spiders! Sure you can use some more wildlife down there.

Ralph - you are TOAST!!! You had to go there with the crawlspace!! As if it was not enough for you to use the word "which shall not be said" ... you add on the crawlspace! Let me tell you, if I could have had a flame thrower this week, it would have had a major work out!! Ugh! I am off rotation for next week, otherwise, it would be me begging the guys in the other blue uniform for a gun!!

Hi Chief, got coffee? At this point, I am almost wanting it freeze-dried. More than enough moisture down here!!

Morning all!! Hope everyone is doing well! Will scroll through in a bit to see what's happening in your worlds!!

New rules ... if ANYONE mentions the word which means precipitation in a non-frozen form, FW will personally come find you and bring you back with her to Noahville!!! Argh!!

Have missed everyone, but needless to say, we have been rowing along down here - again!! Oh, and if anyone sees Mike Meadows, let him know we are having a major issue with his favorite Brown Recluse spiders. Those little blankety-blanks are everywhere and this does NOT make FW a happy camper!! One more dip-wad tells me to go into an area I know is infested and that may be the last thing that person ever does ... FW REALLY does not like spiders!! Oh, and did I mention the mosquitoes?? Sighhh ... as my cohorts would say, "want a little cheese with that whine?"

Stay safe, stay cool, and stay dry!!! Oh, and for those of you NOT living in a flood zone, stay hydrated! LOL!!

Happy "Happy Hour" everybody! Hope you are all doing well,

Chief I see you are hard at work! Thanks for the caffein by the way.

Last night was the welcome for TVFR Volunteer cadets. Watched an intro video, met Chiefs, Captains, LTs, Drivers, who will be drilling the 12 of us for the next two months. Look forward to some close bonds and reinforcing my training. Be interesting to see how things are different from the first academy.

Received all gear needed for training and to use after going active. Nice SCOTT pack, new face mask, blue uniform, even a coat and helmet with my last name on it! Man, it was a proud moment seeing what was about to begin... Just wish the rest of the fam was their to see too. But...

Still plenty of space available to tell about your greatest outdoor experiences and techniques in the SURVIVAL ZONE. Your all welcome to become members and check it out.

P.S. OH yeah, I think my plan worked, and I tricked them into even giving me my own rope, and Repelling devise to use in my spare time! HAHAHA! You may see me in the Rehab room soon!

Nice to see everyone, talk to you soon!
