Hmmm, sounds to me like Chief might want to watch his turnout coat tails ... has Jess running up on him with that training! "If I ever want to move up into lt, capt or chiefs position" ... Go Jess!!! :D

My department does too but I need to have FFI and FF2 or equivalents for both if I ever want to move up into a lt, capt or chiefs postition someday.
Plus there's nothing wrong with relearning some of the things I already know. I know I'm going to miss 2 classes of FFI and am hoping Scott and Mike won't have me redo those classes because I have the basic level which covers the first 45 or 48 hours (I can't remember how many hours it was) of training and the two classe's I'm missing fall right into that first 45 or 48 hours.

As far as I know when a few of us researched it according to NYS you need to have basic and intermediate in order to by pass FFI and move to FF2. Because FFI is a combination of Basic and Intermediate.

Yes I'm taking FFI have to as I only completed Basic before the course changed, and yes FP wraps up Thursday night...woo hoo although I'm going to miss FFI on Thursday to complete FP.

Morning Chief! FW will be reporting to your office for indecent photo profile posting on FFN! Guess I should have looked more closely at the Sponge Bob photo ... I thought it was a costume until it was pointed out by someone! Then, as I was getting ready to load new shot; it was removed by web masters ... FW feels really chastised (and deservedly so!). Sigh ...
