ERIC - I can hear it in your tone that there is WAY more than safety and support in your being her dad - I can hear your LOVE and that is the #1 thing kids need - ok, everyones #1 need. SO many kids don't have parents that schedule their kids into their free time after working an insane number of hours. You are a GOOD DAD and a GREAT MAN - so DON'T DIMINISH your hard work and tender care and irreplaceable value as her dad - I have no doubt she is an amazing girl - since she is yours!!!

She must have been , She is alot smarter than i ever was , she has no intrest in boys "yet" her education is her own main priority and yes its costing me a fortune but her schooling is the best on the east coast for deaf children

It is not a handicap, it is a challenge! I have two nephews who were born challenged - one just got married last weekend and graduated top of his class from the CIA (Culinary Institute of America).
Your daughter was obviously dealt the right "dad" card!

She tells me that all the time , with the cards my daughter was given when she was born the deck was stacked against her from day one , but now that she has overcome most of her issues and her labeled handicap which she herself calls just a shortcomming not a handicap

Well then, by the time we are finished with all these guys, they will most definitely feel VERY alive! LOL!!!
