The Backroom Crew

This is a place where we can sit down, put our feet up and chill. Where the Boys and Girls can just be themselves. The Back Room or what most firefighters call a ''day room or rec room'' is the social point of every firehouse.

Crap! Sorry to hear that Heather! Parents' can do stuff like that ... call the child who then asks if they called 911. No, of course not, I called you. Gotta love them, but 911 still has to be called!!

Ralph, got beef?? Or was that taco vegetarian??

What Eric - we are supposed to set the clock on the VCR? I thought that blinking number was representing the pulse of VCR...

And yes, since all 4 of my parent's kids are Fire/EMS - my mother casually started calling each of us and "mentioning" someone lit the car on fire...

she didn't call 911... WHY? - because she says "her kids are 911"

when asked why didn't you call our friends (from 911) - since none of us kids actually live in her town - my mom says "I did not want to bother your friends!"

my brother, a neighboring fire chief, brought the FD & PD... and all our friends... My mom offered them breakfast... LOL - as though it was any other day in my mom's life. [she had no idea how bad it could have been]

Totalled the car...
