The Backroom Crew

This is a place where we can sit down, put our feet up and chill. Where the Boys and Girls can just be themselves. The Back Room or what most firefighters call a ''day room or rec room'' is the social point of every firehouse.

Morning Chief.Hope you have a relatively quiet day today.
Heather-I fell off the wagon yesterday and had about 12 ounces of soda.Didn't even really taste good.Back to water today.

Yes - Ford has always been a family owned business and many of the family members still work for the company keeping the assets and liabilities within the family, literally, giving them more cash flow and management control - i heard.

Hoarders show got so gross I had to change the channel.

And Chris - I bought 6 cases of flavored water (from Borba - 0 calories, sugar, or carbs) today - so I can work on breaking my soda habit. YOU inspired me !!! Thanks...

FW - I saw you begging for moisture from the gods - you may come to regret those showers of blessings... ;-)

Ralph, did ya see any possums in there?Saw a commercial for that show a week or so ago and a HUGE possum came running out of a pile of treasure(or s#%&,whatever your view of it happens to be)Mice in the house are bad enough. That's just crazy ridiculous.
John, that's just another reason I drive Fords. They didn't take any bailout money.

Good Evening Everyone.

Just stopped in to let Ralph know I am currently watching an episode of hoarders... in his honor...

I spent the day outside working out and playing in the pool... then I took a nap... and now I am headed to the gym to step aerobics... YAWN... tough work day for me... hee hee

ok, in my defense - my fat ass needs some exercise any way it can get it - even when it is disguised as goofing off ;-)

Morning crew ... fresh pot of coffee brewing. Who would believe that we actually need precipitation?! Everything is so dry and dying! Ah well, c'est la vie! Take care, stay safe, and smile! Keeps them guessing whose zipper is down! :)

Good Morning All,
Ralph I've heard that statement before, but I am constantly amazed at some of the questions that come out of peoples mouths. You've been in the game a long time like myself so I'm willing to bet that you know what I'm talking about....LOL

Evening!Hope all have had an enjoyable day. I have a question that may be dumb (and yes I have been known to ask dumb questions) but here goes. I have been reading the debate about the Obion County, Tennessee fire and have noticed that at least one poster stated that the fire fighters went against NFPA regulations by not responding to or at least fighting the fire once on scene at the neighbors house. I was under the impression that the NFPA issued guidelines and recommendations for life saftey and that these could be adopted into local codes but was not able to make requirements or laws regarding how individual departments are run, equipped or respond. Am I missing something here?

Hi Everyone...

Jeez Ralph that was a complicated call...

Chris - GMC - LOL

Justin - as my mama would say "being busy - keeps you out of jail and off the streets - so it is good to be busy" ;-)
