sorry to hear you had to straddle the old / new rules - seems like that has been the hx of the fire service for many generations on many topics - LOL....

Good Luck, Sarah!  As a bonus, you will be able to learn AND test on the new standards, whereas, I learned the new and tested on the old, so I will still have to transition within the next two recertification cycles along with the rest of our class and the country...lol.

Ice fishing - dang - feels about that chilling in Southern California today - maybe I should wander outside and see if we have frozen lakes as well - LOL.....

 

on another note - what the heck is a crappy ???   now I know I am a country girl, who lives in the city, but apparently I am not quite as much of a redneck as you Jim B...  post us some pictures on here... and show us WHY ... fresh crap is good for dinner... and canning ???

SUPER BIG WELCOME TO REILLY & JONATHAN - new guys... and EVEN FRESHER MEAT than you Jim B.....   But as you may have noticed I like to play with my food... so I have no problem juggling several portions of fresh meat at a time ;-)

 

Jim B - we are STILL waiting for you to spill your guts about life, liberty and the pursuit of freedom.... and tell us all about your family, friends, work, school, and general all around what the heck happens in your world details....  PERHAPS you can warm up newer guy Reilly !!!

Sarah - how absolutely horrible that the firefighter was driving the firetruck to the car fire and "caused" another fatal accident... that has to be the most horrible feeling for the firefighter and his department... EVERYONE please drive with extra caution !!!

I thoughy I was the fresh meat...good day.  Heading out ice fishing w/ the family.  I can fresh crappies for dinner!
