62 truck was parked in front of the weber grill down in indy for fdic this year. It was pretty cool. Got to take a few pix by it.

62 TRUCK WAS SET-UP AT FDIC 09 IN INDY IN APRIL, I SAT IN EVERY SEAT EXCEPT THE OPERATOR/CHAUFFER'S-I DON'T KNOW WHO DRIVES?
PHOTO'S ON MYPAGE. P.S.: SOME FIREFIGHTERS THERE ACTUALLY GOT TO TRAIN ON IT! A WELL KNOWN FDNY INSTRUCTOR WAS NOT HAPPY IT HAD FDNY MARKINGS ON THE TRUCK AS THEY DO NOT USE PIERCE AND THERE IS A 62 TRUCK IN NEW YORK AT THE ACADEMY THERE I BELIEVE.

Ken, yeah they do but thats not my point. I guess I am saying the truck/engine on the show are different than years past thats all

i think 62 truck and 99 engine share the same quarters
