Having taught nationally, I have had the chance to see a lot of fire department training centers. One of the better ones, and this was years ago, was a television station that donated the facility and equipment to the Kern County Fire Department in California. Multi-media production at this kind of level years ago made one heck of a difference. Classrooms within the facility with reverse screen projection, and all the bells and whistles needed to make a good training center were employed in the design of this training center.

This is a training cenetr in Henrietta

This would be station #6 for the Henrietta Fire Department. It has a four story tower next to it.

This is our 5 story burn tower, it has burn rooms on the first, second, and fourth floors. Behind it is our flashover simulator. We also have a training center with a state of the art auditorium and classrooms that can be used for a variety of trainings.
