I ride a 2005 Heritage Softail Deluxe. I have a long riding season, basically all year around. Just got back from a 4 day Mexico ride with about 30 friends out of the Galveston, Texas area.

Good evening to all....I really enjoy riding. Most of the time do day trips alone because the other guys just like staying local. Currently have 3 H's, one Harley and two Hondas. Would like to get with other riders to do day trips. Safe riding.

Some say the best bikes are built not bought. I think I have to agree.

PS I've figured out how to load pics in this forum w/o distortion if anyone wants to know.

Sandra, I'm proud of you too! We have a lady about your size on our team who has ridden for years. Two things: first, take the class and learn to ride safely (I think the Motorcycle Safety Foundation classes are the best). Secondly, find a bike that fits you, and that you are comfortable handling. I suspect that it is probably going to be a Japanese cruiser of some sort. Best of Luck and ride safely.

I want to try and get my motorcycle license next summer. There is a class at a collage near me that has a class for this.My problem is my husband has told me that I probably won't make it due to my height, weight, and I have fibromyalgia.I am trying to talk myself into it.After all I am now a volunteer firefighter.Of which I am very proud of myself for.I should tell you that I am 5 foot and 1 inch tall. And I weigh about 104 pounds.
