I just bought my first Harley two weeks ago. It's a '98 Dyna Super Glide. It only has 12k miles on it!! I grew up on dirtbikes and my dad always had Harley's. It feels great to finally be out on my own.

I believe there are about six of us that now own Harleys on my VFD. Great riding group. We are planning on a poker run and organizing it with other area departments. Stay safe, in both aspects of our lives!!

I just got home from my first ride of the year! What a perfect day here in Southwestern PA. Just a few high thin clouds and wall to wall sunshine. Good thing a wear a full face helmet or I certainly had bugs in my teeth because I was smiling the entire ride. Keep your eyes pealed for people who don't pay attention, stay safe and enjoy the ride.

I rode a couple hundred miles on Sunday. Temps in the 60s.
Helmet, leather and the roar of the bike.
Then I remembered how bad the roads are here in Illinois.
You have to keep one eye on the pavement and the other scanning for deer.
Other than that, it was pleasant enough. Maybe between now and next week end, the road crews will get out and do some patching and the deer will settle down. Then a biker can kick it in a little bit.
Ride safe.
