I'm just interested in seeing who uses what for a pumper.
My Dept. uses E-1's
Anyone using Pierce, Seagrave, Hahn, American LaFrance or others who uses what? Just curious?

Both our pumpers are Ferrara commercial chasis rigs built on a Sterling chasis. Both have Hale 1250 gpm pumps one with a 1000 gal tank the other with 1800 gal.
We use Pierce for all our needs up here
Chief,
They have; even since NFPA 00-OOPS mandated that schnooter valves shall be installed in all hay bales over 2 feet tall, or weighing more than a seven layer burrito.
Here in West Texas, our call rates significantly dropped because of this. Now we have to resort to using our brush trucks for fundraisers and cow tipping.
Well, If you really want to know if you ask any kid in New York they will tell you fire trucks are red. Ours are so if you have green trucks leave them all outside and someday they will ripping. LOL! You can go to my profile and see our trucks. We run Frightliner's built by 4guys. 1500 gpm hale pumps 1000 gals of water. Newer truck has a 20gal foam tank with a trash line. Both have 800' 5" ldh. 2) 250' 1 3/4" hose lays and 1) 150' 2 1/2" hose lay.
