Okay, I have seen the threads for firefighter movies and music...what about Firefighter/EMS books? Or are they "no use"?

Personally I love reading!

  7. Both books by-Peter Canning
  8. EMT Rescue-Pat Ivey
  9. The Fire Inside:Firefighters Talk About Their Lives-Steve Delsohn

Report From Engine Company 82 by Dennis Smith. Very old book but very good reading in my opinion.
I also like "The Fire Inside." Definitely does a good job of portraying firefighting from many angles. I'd recommend it to anyone who was interested in becoming a firefighter or who wanted to understand firefighters better. I related to a lot of it and even learned from it.
