What was the "Fluffiest" piece of equipment your department ever purchased?

A department where I worked bought a Golf Cart, and outfitted it with  Rapid Response Gear in order to provide EMS service to down-town residents during Friday Night Markets. We had a full complement of ALS gear, and some basic suppression gear. We also ran a bike program to support it's operation. (Sorry...I can't find any pictures at the moment)

The cart had fancy lettering, radios, lights and siren!

ROTFLMAO

- cute as all get out....

Fluffy you say - well, of course then, Air Pillow Bags to be cool and lift things

Close............but that looks like a '34 Ford! Awesome.
You have got to be kidding me right.....? You guys have that much funding that you can buy a golf cart......? What's next......a roach coach...? LOL
$!.8 mil per station, at 10 stations. Not bad.
That doesn't sound "fluffy" at all. It sounds like you had a requirement (large areas where it would be difficult or slow to move a vehicle) and your station found an innovative solution. At University of Maryland, my station ran a bicycle mounted medic unit at stadium events for the same reason.

You'll love this: In down town Sydney, the run paramedic motorcycles! I don't mean some little moped - I'm talking the same BMW that the coppers ride. They can go anywhere regardless of traffic.
Not sure the chief would have trusted us with motorcycles....LOL
Seatbelts?

A friend of mine fell out of a golf cart on a corner - without the seatbelt on - onto pavement - and got a significant head injury from smacking the pavement with his head - equal to falling out of a moving car is how doctor treated it.
We operate on your petty cash fund.....LOL on second thought it is probably less than that........
