This is another case of ingenuity getting the best of us.

Although this is creative, it obviously is not appropriate.

I am sure I will get a reply that the outlet is covered and blah, blah blah.

But, come on, a dish soap bottle.  I can respect the creativity, but don’t let a business use this.

This is an electrical fire just waiting to happen.  Do enough inspections and you find some great stuff.

Stay safe and share your thoughts and experiences.

The leg lamp is more creative and safer.
Nice one!
Pretty sure that one is against the code---EVERYWHERE!
I don't know but ya have to give them something for creativity. I wouldn't have thought about using a soap bottle .

Remember, the lamp is Italian - "fragillleee"

I think the folks that put together the soap bottle outlets also did the work on my entertainment center wall. I asked for a couple of extra outlets to handle my AV equipment. I did not find their sense of humor amusing... This is why some folks require micromanagement...

LMAO
Ok, I take back my last comment. THAT is creative.
actually... what I thought was creative was coming across a blog where the writer described how lobster just loves Doritos... that's creative!

but then again, anyone who does this job full time for over 30 years ends up being just a little twisted... so what I find amusing may not necessarily be the norm, whatever that is...

Not so safe when plugged into the outlet that is stacked 6 high.
This will take that hunger away...

How many times have you found extention cords running under carpets, over and under things and used in ways they were never intended? Ingenuity is alive and well. If there is a way they will think of it. The old bailing wire and bubble gum ingenuity that is.
