Does anyone drive a Jeep wrangler as a personal vehicle to get to fire calls?

Not entirely sure if this should go here so sorry if I'm wrong.

Anyway I am in the market to get blue lights for my 1997 Jeep Wrangler but I am worried about just ordering something off the internet and it not fitting because of the steep windshield the Jeep has. So if anyone has a Jeep Wrangler and you have lights on the front windshield would you please point me in the right direction?

Thanks,

Alex.

I dont have a jeep but I am pretty good with lights. You could go with any of the dash lights that have suction cup mounting with adjustable bracket like an Avenger, or talon, or slimmiser. The adjustable bracket will allow you to mount it directly to the windshield and then adjust it to face straight out. however you will not be able to use the flashback shield that comes with most of the newer lights but it should'nt be a problem since the light would be mounted right up against the windshield anyways.
AK35 I do not have a Jeep but would recommend some bumper lights, I have the under-cover style that appear to be driving lights but have a blue bulb, this way when you go into a place that does not like you to have them (for us it’s Chicago) it’s no problem.
I had a full sized light bar...years ago....on a '95 soft top Wrangler. I mounted it onto the bar used for off road lights. Looked cool then, really retarded now. Suction cup window mounts are easy and easily removed.
Alright. So something like this would fit? http://www.whackerusa.com/fury-ox-led-dash-light.htm

Also Trainer I'm not sure as to what to look for as far as bumper lights.
It will if the flash shield is removable. If you are not familiar it is the part that sticks off the front of the light on the bottom. If that part comes off the light will sit against the glass and the flash shouldnt bother you. If it does not come off the suction cups will either not mount not the glass correctly or they wont mount at all. Most flashshields are removable but to make sure I would drop whackerusa an email or call them to find out if the flash shield is removable or if they can point you towards a light without one. As far as bumper lights google "grill lights" and I am sure all kinds of lights will show up. You could also check with whackerusa I know they sell them ask them to show you or tell you which ones are the most popular that they sell and I am sure they will be more than happy to help you.
hey Keenhold

you should go down to patriot and talk to Nick. Im sure he could get you dash and grille lights at a reasonable price. I know that he has a mini led light bar under 400 and about 100 dash lights
