Overhaul face/respiratory protection

I know we have been discussing air monitoring in the other thread, so this is a little different. Does anyone have experience with the cartridge adapters and filters for SCBA masks. We are looking at purhcasing the Scott filters for our masks. I feel that, after air monitoring and O2 lever confirmation, we can save our backs by losing our packs. But, I want my guys to have full face and respiratory protection that is still appropriate for the environment. This is a very inexpensive alternative…See More

I would like to get a Phenix, but I plan on doing the live in program at the Prince Georges County Fire Department in Maryland. But according to their SOG's, I would only be able to get a Cairns 1000, 1010, 1044 or MP Ben 2 Plus. The only leather they allowed is the N6A. I know it is stupid because the Phenix is NFPA approved and most likely safer as well. Thanks for the offer though.

I would assume your Sam's are above $560? lol
