Dave,

Congratulations on the news. I have been a fan of your work for a long time now. The enjoyment of seeing Fire/EMS news becoming a mainstay in the mainstream on the internet has been a work in progress and your work with Firehouse.com was easily a huge catalyst in seeing so many other mediums go online as places for firefighters and EMT's to learn, share, and correspond.

I look forward to seeing the new developments in the future.

As one of the small fish in this Firefighting and EMS Internet community, I have enjoyed seeing the many new websites going online each month. Firefighter Nation is easily one of those ideas I wish I had thought of before you!

Thanks Rhett!
Great news Dave and congratulations.
It just keeps getting better and better. Atta boy Dave.
Dave:
This little monkey has turned into a real gorilla.
It seems like yesterday that I swore off another website and came here. Has it been that long?
I guess it's true what they say: if you aren't moving forward...
Anyway; congratulations on your vision.
TCSS.

Congratulations Dave!! Elsevier is HUGE in the world of metadata. The Publishing world is going electronic in leaps & bounds. More & more of our resources at the academic library where I work are "online" resources. Someday we will have a discussion about Libraries & Technology :) and how the internet really has revolutionized information science. It is rather scary for a LIBRARY TECH!!
Two facets of my world collide yet again, Information Technology & Fire Science.
