If you have a very tight budget, you might consider making them yourselves. We took two standard 6' round handled fiberglass pike poles (probably got from Darley). The end cover was carefully removed and they were cut to 5' to make them easier to carry. I cut the stay tips on the sides of the pike flush with the sides. Starting with 80 grit medium on a small drum sander, started sanding the metal. Progressively going to lighter grit (220) until I got the desired finish. After the metal was polished, it was thoroughly cleaned to remove all dust and oils, I applied about 6 coats of clearcoat to protect the steel from rusting. After this dries for a few days, I taped off the pike with painters tape, sanded the handles smooth, and applied 6 coats of white lacquer paint, lightly sanding in between coats. Re-installed the butt covers and there you go. It took about 10 hrs to do. Makes a good project for the Honor Guard members.
