Well I went to my first structure fire tonight. We were mutual aid for the city... actually the entire county was mutual aid on this one. I went POV and had to park in the mall parking lot next to the complex, there was an 8 ft chain link fence between me and the apts. So what do you think a rookie at his first structure fire did? The following is a copy of a bulletin I posted on myspace. If you live in NC please contact the right people.





We responded to a call tonight of a man burning trash not 10 foot from

a wooded area. The man refused to put it out and there was nothing we

could do because he lives in the county where it is legal for him to do

that. Not long after we left we were called back out to put the woods
