WOW we had another incident, a structure fire in an office warehouse that houses electronic bingo games. The call went out as a burglar alarm at around 3 AM and once the Sheriffs got there they were calling it fire thru the roof working structure fire. My Engine (45) was first on scene after the battallion, and was told to check the roof and verify whether it was thru or just a roof fire. we laddered the roof and it appeared to have burnt thru. Then made entry to the adjacent office and found smoke only and then attempted to force open the door, it was luck that when my partner pried on the roll up door that he made entry, and the fire was just a room and contents fire. Our crew made a quick attack with a 2 1/2 hose line and knocked it down in seconds. Since we didn't know how big the fire was that was our first choice of a handline. After we were down overhauling and putting away equipment our Deputy Chief, Battallio, Fire Marshall, and our own Captain congradulated us on a job well done.
