Brandon,

Do all FFs on your VFD need to procure their own gear or just the Jrs like you? Are there not enough to supply Jrs or is there a policy not provide them? If no policy ,check ebay, I've seen some there. Since helmets keep your noggin safe be cafeful not to go too cheap. Good luck. TCSS

perhaps your department could apply for a grant in order to purchase gear for all of the members.

the only real helmet your gonna find cheap is a cheap fiberglass/plastic helmet. what doesnt your department supply you guys with proper ppe
