Clean SCBAs...Does anyone else other than me have a problem????
Seems after a structure fire everything gets packed up, but it seems my guys have a problem making sure that the equiptment used is put back clean & ready to go, and put on the rigs perfectly. dont know if I should lay it on my officers or blast them all at next meeting? ........Hope some of you fellas read this and give me some feed back.

All packs are cleaned. All masks are cleaned and wiped out with alcohol wipes. The guys using the packs are the ones cleaning and putting back in the trucks. I myself would not want to grab one that hasnt been cleaned. Theres normally sweat puddled up in the mask after a call. Think you should wait till they get back from their next call, let them put all the equipment away, then tell them to pull it all back out and clean it. Maybe with the extra time involved, they will remember to clean it next time.
