I just turned in my clinical book for assessments for medics class No one was there so I do not know what the next step is. I was supposed to have 10 by the end of the quarter and only had 3, but had an extension til today and only had gotten 3 more. According to the instructor It will be an incomplete. When we started the class he had said we should have 10 done by the end of the quarter, the way he made it sound it was an accumulative total and that 10 was where we should be at, NOT that we had to have them by the end. Wish he would have stressed it that it was needed. When we were allowed to do clinicals, we only had less than a month to do them in, and I as tried to tell him, I have a little girl who i take care of through the day and I am on call every night for our Department, that is my only income, besides my wifes and she cannot make enough to cover our bills. I had also heard from a guy I work with that an employee from his other job, had actually failed to achieve a passing grade by only a couple of percentage points, and was allowed to continue. So I will have to wait and see if they will allow me to continue on or not, I am hoping they will.

Hey man, I'm not trying to sound like an asshole here so dont take this the wrong way but it sounds to me like you got a bit distracted and didnt devote the time you needed to toward the class. If you only had three at first and then got an extension to finish the TEN, You probably should have finished the ten. Now i understand that you got a kid and a job to look after and you know what, you are absolutly right; FAMILY SHOULD COME FIRST. Thats what you are doing, providing for your family. Im hopin that the guy does let you make them up or do what you need to do but if not, stay with it anyway. Do what you need to do to get that cert. You will be able to provide much more for your family if you do

I am crossing my fingers for you.. With less people trying to become ems providers due to time and jobs,I can not see why this guy would not let you finish.. This close... Keep your head You can do this ok..Don't get bummed and let this guy know you really want this and maybe just maybe there will be alittle of the x-mas spirit out there for you....... I hope.... I know from what I have read and seen about you .. I would let you work on me anyday... as a medic......
