What a year 2009 has been. In January I decided to get off my rear end and get back in shape, and 40 pounds and a couple thousand miles on the bike later, I am almost where I want to be.
(resting HR 55, BP 110/70, and cholesterol sits at 155)
Things changed on a more drastic level in March when my beautiful wife informed me we were having a baby in October! Now I know, I already have 4, how drastic can another one be? Right?
Well let me tell ya...
We purchased a 3 BR home in 2007 just after we married. It was perfect for our one child living with us, and my two boys who spend several months a year with us. Then we found out we were expecting with Sophia, our 19 month old daughter. Of course this made our house a little tight, but with Alex being born last week, it got very crowded.
Now comes the biggest change.
Zakarjs, my oldest son is coming to live with us in January. This puts 4 kids from 2 months to 12 years in a small 3 BR house, and that does not include the times when Noah is here, so we have 5 kids and 2 small bedrooms to put them in.
Now am I complaining? Nope not a bit.
We are however looking for another house, and planning for a cross country transfer in the next 6-8 months.
