In New Mexico we have businesses that will test ladders, test apparatus and test hose but not a business that will do everything during one visit.
The Fire Departments do hose testing and ladder testing and in most cases complete in-service pump testing. The ladders are tested at the station and the hose is tested at the station but it requires time out of service and travel to a water source to do the apparatus in service testing.

Check out this one, test a pumper on site once a year and use the same divice to train pump operators anytime!!!
No heat problem when used wth a 2000 gallon folding tank, no airation problem, clean water no damage to pump impeller, safe operation, do an in service pump test at your station. Don't take it to the lake or river, don't risk getting stuck (have a cook out, eat and watch the pump "enjoy the day")

How do you train an engineer? Minimize water usage? Focus on safe pump operations and use all the functions of the apparatus?
Training the engineer usually ends up as nozzleman training, or a wild nozzle because a strap broke on a line that was thought to be secure. A line can be charged when someone is not ready for water.
