Good luck to you too.The first thing I did was to tighten up the driving regulations, which were not bad but still had too much gray area.Think I got a couple folks ticked about that already.Oh well.Gear inspection last night.I called it all back in to the station temporarily until we get a good inventory of what we have.Last couple of guys were pretty free about handing stuff out and not documenting where it went.Lots of stuff unaccounted for.Ticked a couple folks off with that too.I really don't give a rodents behind.its not theirs,it belongs to the relief assoc. and its our year for an audit. My thinking is if it ticks you off to bring stuff in for an inventory, you have some stuff you shouldn't have.If that is all it takes toi get those couple folks ticked, they better look in the mirror and really decide if they want to do this.Gotta love this chief business!!
Hows things going over in Crawford Co.?Starting off busy over here.Been running our behinds off the last couple of days.
I got elected to the chiefs position fo this year so I'm working on getting some stuff started.Gonna be making a couple changes that are probably not going to make a couple of folks very happy but it's necessary. The last couple of guys ahead of me were good guys but they didn't like to say anything that might rock the boat. It's to the point I have to do something,so I will.Should be interesting,to say the least.
Hope everything is going reasonably smooth over there.I think the fire school meeting is over here at our station in the spring.Don't know if you are still involved with that or not.
Stay safe.

We just might come over on Sat. if the weather cooperates.Got to ship a couple beef cows in the morning. If that goes according to plan we may stop in.Thanks.
Not going to make Crawford-Venango this year.We are hosting the vehicle fire class agian this year and I may help out with that.I pumped the truck for that last year and I may do that again this year.Don't know for sure yet.I think some of us are going to Wattsburg on Sept. 27 to see Chief Goldfeder.Pretty good way to spend my b-day I think.
