Thanks for the invite Chief. I do believe that this forum will be widely used. As one who has many years in administration, I have wanted to pull my hair out on so many occasions. Some of it was just inexperienced firefighters, some were simply fearing the unknown. But, the one's that make us all pull our hair out are those that just don't have a damn clue. I know it's hard to properly address an issue like this, and sometimes I have just wanted to throw my hands up, expel a few choice words, and slap the crap out of some of them, hoping to smack some sense into them. Anyway, Ya'll be careful and stay safe.

Dealing with folks that don't have a clue nor will they ever get one. One of our firemen responded to a structure fire on first run engine when the driver told him to get out and pull the hose off the truck to hook to the hydrant. He got out made 2 complete circles of the truck climbed back on the truck and ask the driver where the hose was!!!! This is a volunteer but has been on our dept. for 7 yrs. How can you deal with someone like that????
