Type of Organization: Fire/Rescue Department - Paid, Military/Federal Response Agency

My Training:: ff1&2, a/o pumper&arial, wildland ff, hazmat tech, fireground leader, fire investigation, confined space rescue, Emt-basic,sw-212 wildland powersaws,Fire instructor 1.

About Me:: I have a varied experience from initial attack on a singe family structure to a/o on muti agency responces. I was recently selected for a firefighter position at umcd. Before that I was a toxic materials/explosives handler for the dod. Yeah it was wmd. You can say I don't like dull jobs! I have two boys 3&6. My wife was a firefighter (thats how we met) still trying to get her in the saddle again. I enjoy hunting, fly fishin, the outdoors, camping, rock hounding, shooting, and reading.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS: I Have always wanted to do something good for the community. Once I got in I was hooked.

Top Issues Facing Responders:: Fire fighter fatalities and providing top notch training to every department.

When the fire starts, a timer appears, and you will get a true timeline of the ferocity of the fire. The West Warwick FD is less than 2 minutes away and is fully staffed by paid firefighters. (its about 1/8th a mile) If you need any further information, contact me, I have done some intense studies on the fire through my fire marshal class in Rhode Island post station fire.
