I joind to help my countery... I also joined for EMS.. and watching the guys come back all pumped up I had to see what the rest of it was about and was hooked the first time..

LODD for medics

I just need to vent..we lost a GREAT medic after while in route to the hosp they had a deer run out in front of them and they hit a tree the pt and on of the medics died on sceen and 1 emt was severly injured,they cut the tree down and after much pushing from the ems and fire service they put an ugly brown sign with nothing more then her name( now when we lost a state trooped she got a beautiful in memory sign) so the ems dept got togeather and had the same one made for the medic and took…

I live in Townsend but I am a member of Odessa Fire Company. My youngest son is a junior member at Townsend and of course I have to rub it in that at least Odessa is smaller, we still have a firehouse. But I thank you for your concern and will pass on to Townsend Fire Company.
