Glad to hear none of your's got hurt.
Live burn training if not done by the book can have catastrophic results. I would have been searching for the Safety Officer, because, ultimately, that is the person who will be held responsible.
Glad to hear that you are staying home when they burn it down.
Things have been very busy for me. I am planning a firefighter golf tourney for my fire department and I have been going to planning sessions, as I am running for our county board. It seems like the right thing to do. I'll know if I made the right decision on November 4th. I feel that I can take my fire service knowledge to the county level and hopefully, make some changes in the name of public safety.
Yeah; I am not a big fan of Adam Croman, because I hold him responsible for not getting his guys out. I think that comes through loud and clear in my article.
I am not against younger guys holding a rank, but look at Lairdsville and tell me that they weren't their own worst enemies.
Hope you can use it as a teaching tool.
That's why I wrote it. And trust me; it took me a long time to put it together, because I wanted to get it right the first time.
Send your email address to me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
I can send it to you in a Word or PDF document.
Just let me know.
I researched hundreds of stories and court documents to get what I did.
It could save you alot of time, just by reading my article: "Just Enough Time to Die".
