My continued service brings me to 33 years and still going.
The United States government's national threat level is Elevated, or Yellow. For all domestic and international flights, the U.S. threat level is High, or Orange.
If you look closely at the picture above, you will note that all the Marines pictured are bowing their heads. That's because they're praying.
This incident took place at a recent ceremony honoring the birthday of the corps, and it has the ACLU up in arms. "These are federal employees," says Lucius Traveler, a spokesman for the ACLU , "on federal property and on federal time. For them to pray is clearly an establishment of religion, and we must nip this in the bud immediately."

Thanks for the welcome note, Kevin. I feel a bit like a poacher being on your website, because I am just a student.
Currently, I am enrolled in the M.A. Emergency & Disaster Management program at American Military University. One of our instructor's had forwarded us an article that originated through your website about the recent Continental crash, so I thought I'd get online to see if I could learn more. Wow! Looks like there is a wealth of information and expertise to draw from through your website. So, I hope it is okay for me to check in every now and then to keep tabs on the reality of the profession.
Regards,
Laura

Hi Kevin. I see you are originally from Indiana. My mother was born in Evansville, Indiana, and I have lots of relatives in Indiana. Your pictures are great. Love the pictures of the baby fire fighter and the fire hose going through the car windows (connected to the hydrant). Have a great day!
