Why I Joined Fire/EMS
Being a Firefighter has always been something I have wanted to do. My home towns, City and Rural Depts, where full so was never able to get on. So when moved to NewPlymouth, was able to get on with the local Fire Dept.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
The ability and comitment to serve My Comunity, the Friendship of My fellow Firefighters on Our Dept.
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Training and Firefighter health issues, also lack of funding for smaller Depts. I also feel that there needs to be more support from Employers, when it comes to Employees that are Firefighters/EMTs. , to be able to leave work when a second padge comes in for help.

I did get on the horse for the first time about a week ago... I am enjoying working with my sister...she is great with the horses! Ithink I got a concussion the other day... I hit my head REALLY hard into a wooden board...I forgot it was on top of the gate...so I forgot to duck!! It REALLY hurt. I don't think I will forget next time!!!

So were about do you live in New Plymouth? My family has some really good freinds over that way so I kinda spent most of my life around there other than in Payette.
