- Why I Joined Fire/EMS
- Mostly because its in my blood. Just about all the males in my family are firefighters,EMT's and Cops so thats probaly why. I love it very much also

Rochester Twp. Vol Fire department is located about 40 miles North of Pitsburgh.
Its about 3.8 Sq Miles. We have two stations. At station 1 we have; Rescue 23, Engine 232, Engine 23, Brush 23, and Squad 239. At Station 2 we have; Engine 233, Tanker 23, and Squad 23. We run about 105 to 150 calls a year. We have estimated about 45 members encluding fire police. We have a new engine on its way, it should be here sometime in april (Engine23). We have 3 chiefs, 3 Captians, and 3 Lieutenants.
