- About Me:
- I started running with Needmore Volunteer Fire Co in 1999 and joined MVFC the same year. I became a EMT in june of 99, and loved being able to help others. I worked at a Vet clinic that was stone throw away from the fire hall. So I was able to run calls when we were not busy. For about 3-4 yrs I was a top ten EMS responder for NVFC. I then decided to move to McConnellsburg to get a place of my own in 2003. Before I moved into town, I was able to assist on the delivery of 2 baby girls; the first was born in june and the second was born in august. I was a top ten responder from 2003-2006. In 2004 I recieved the EMT of the Year Award and in 2006 I recieved the Ambulance Chief Award. I have held several ambulance officer postions in the company. i have staffed a ambualnce at a local dirt speedway and loved it. I just finished paramedic school and I am going for my written test in the next couple months. In May of this year I was onscene for the delivery of the first twin baby girl born breech in our unit. While Her sister waited till we arrived at the local ER to be born. I will be joining a third fire/ems company in the next 2 months.
