EMT-I for New London Ambulance
Why I Joined Fire/EMS
My father was a volunteer firefighter when I was young, and it always thrilled me to see him go to calls. When I finally settled to an area, I figured I would give it a try. I love firefighting, and EMS also. I currently am a volunteer Captain, and an NREMT-I.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Top Issues Facing Responders:
Firefighter safety while responding to calls. This is a problem that is growing, and really needs to be adressed at the department level with strict rules about response.
Just got sized for Class A dress uniforms. I believe that these will be the first in our dept's history. Yeah!!
