Prior to 9/11/01 I joined a combined paid/volunteer fire department. Thought what a better way of making a difference. Went to a fire academy. Then had a bad run in with the guys wives. I was a threat to them I guess. Got pretty bad for me and the guys. Left that department and moved out of that town. Joined a different volunteer department. Recived my EMT-B. Was hired on as a full time fire fighter! My dream job. Just recently earned my EMT-I.

About Me:
I new I was going to have to fight some battles but what I'm dealing with is way more then I ever expected. Been her for 4 years as a professional and still get treated like its my first day. I have proven my self mentally and PHYSICALLY time and time again. First it was shes a chick and there is no way she can do the physical stuff. To holly shit she can and do it better then me. Now we have to get rid of her because she can out do me. OMFG!!!! I'm a very happy smily kind of person and its really hard to be me in an environment like that.

Why I Joined Fire/EMS
To make a difference. I have a strong desire to help people. Even when they decide to not help themselves. And play with fire... giggle

Im making a difference in the world around me. Im not just some lemming following.
