Why I Joined Fire/EMS
I am a third generation firefighter. My Grandfather retired from the old Ballwin Fire Dept, now Metro West, outside of St. Louis. Then was the Fire Chief for the Central Crossing Fire District in Shell Knob, MO for 31 years. My father has only been a volunteer, but has worked on an ambulance for several years now. So being around it all my life, it is in my blood. I became a volunteer in 1994 when I turned 16, and after many moves finally became a full time firefighter for the City of Republic in January 2006.
Why I Love Fire/EMS
Helping and Serving people in need.
