Hello group! Thanks for inviting me to the group. I am pretty new to the Fire service and eager to learn as much as I can. Just three weeks ago I graduated the 1152 Basic FF Course. Previous training includes NIMS, CPR, Fire Ground Simulation, and LZ command and Ops. Now in class for Haz-Mat Ops. I previously worked with Marion County EMS as an EMT-I for about four years. The last thirteen years have been running the family business. About 15 months ago decided to join Mullins Fire-Rescue as a volunteer and I just absolutely fell in love with the fire service. Thanks again Mike for the invite.

Greetings Training Cadre, thank you for inviting me to this group. Please let me introduce myself. I’ve been in the Fire Service since 1965 (that makes me an old guy) and teaching emergency responders since 1974. New York State Municipal Training Officer, NYS Fire Instructor, 8 years as Fire Chief in Pennsylvania. My passion now is NIMS & ICS, I believe that if we are serious about safely taking care of our folks we must improve our emergency scene leadership (ICS) on all levels. That’s the key to our success. Thanks for all you do.
