you can always tell the more seasoned FFs by their stance - with their arms crossed and the belly out and the bored, yet trying to pay attention, look on their faces

Kyle you don't need to be in the paper to keep up on what you learned and jot down what you did in your scrap book. Shoot I ran fire/rescue for 10 years, and the couple of times I was in the newspaper was when i was in someone else's town - LOL - doing mutual aid. I never really ever saw the newspaper people in my district, no matter how big the matter. Plus we always kept the rubber-neckers off the scene - so we would not let them come on for pictures anyway.

and Kyle since I have never met you - though I suspect a few things about your position in the pix...

1) not the guys with 5-o'clock shadow
2) not the guys presenting the FF pot-bellies
3) not the girls

so my guess is the guy with his hands tucked in his suspenders

Hey Kyle - glad to see you have been getting some action.

I hope you started a scrap book to keep yours stories recorded for your grandchildren.

And glad to see the guys are making you spill juicy details about your calls - and telling us what you learned as that is very important to address each call as you gather new experiences!
